Opportunity Overview
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to develop and maintain the full software stack supporting our hardware and systems, from PXIe modules to stand-alone signal integrity test instruments. Working closely with hardware, automation and test engineers, you will contribute to design, implement and optimise software that ensures performance, reliability and a seamless user experience across our product range.
- Implement, test, debug, and document software for products, including PXIe modules and stand-alone signal integrity instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
- Apply and advocate software engineering best practices, including participating in code reviews, implementing unit and automated testing, using version control, and secure coding standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
- Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and workflows, and actively share knowledge across the team.

- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, C++, C, .NET, etc).
- Basic understanding of software development principles and lifecycle.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced developers.
