Test Solutions Product Manager

Job Description:

As a Test Solutions Product Manager, you will work in the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit and will be responsible for working with the Sales and Marketing teams to configure test solutions to customer requirements and provide product pricing. This requires working closely with Sales, System Engineering, and the Product Management team on achieving financial and market goals, and with Manufacturing on planning, execution, and delivery. The Product Manager will also work closely with Engineering to ensure the products are closely aligned with customer needs and market trends.

This is a pivotal position for an electrical engineer looking to make the transition into product management.

 Responsibilities include the following: 

1.    Support the Sales team members on key sales opportunities

2.    Convert customer requirements to a viable test system configuration 
3.    Be an expert with respect to the application, alternative solutions, and the competition. 
4.    Work with Manufacturing on Planning, Scheduling, and Delivering product to meet customer expectations.
5.    Work with Engineering to assure alignment with product and customer needs.

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge:

1.    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree, or work experience
2.    Minimum of 5 years of experience in test systems
3.    Demonstrated success in configuring test solutions, manufacturing integration and customer acceptance. 
4.    Excellent teamwork and communication skills. 
5.    Aerospace and defense experience preferred.
