The Role

Reporting to the VP, Head of HR, this is an exciting opportunity to be a strategic collaborator and enabler of both the business and HR while playing a critical role in service delivery of Teradyne’s global field HR support. This position will require organizational, customer-focused experience to create robust operations processes that align with all businesses across the organizational portfolio.

The Global Field HR Manager will build, manage and develop an effective global field HR team that collaborates with internal teams and cross-functional business partners to prioritize employees, as well as providing career pathways within the HR function.

This role will be responsible for HR regional teams in the Americas, Europe (Test Businesses), and Asia and directly responsible for managing the Americas team. This person will also lead the team in outstanding customer service and operational excellence delivering worldwide HR programs with a focus on efficiency, data, and technology.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

• Execute seamless service delivery to all Teradyne businesses, colleagues and managers through building and managing relationships with Business Leaders, COE’s (Talent Management, Global Compensation, HR Operations), Strategic HR Business Partners, Payroll and Finance

• Oversee the local support and rollout of new and annual HR programs and policies such as talent management, compensation, and workforce planning (in conjunction with HRBPs and COEs) • Build strong country intimacy for handling specific issues relative to employee engagement, compliance, labor relations; provide high level employee relations and employee life-cycle management through Field team

• Lead and manage the team of Field Recruiters who provide country specific Talent Acquisition execution and delivery across all businesses • Oversee the team of individuals who provide support for all HR related questions from employees and managers • Guide the global benefit execution and administration in conjunction with the Total Rewards COE

• Provide discipline expertise, ownership, and strategic planning around best practice execution of transactional processes with a focus on standardization, quality, and efficiency

• Coach and develop local managers through all applicable HR processes

 

Candidate Profile/Background

• BA and/or 10-15 years of relevant HR Leadership experience managing direct and indirect reports in a mid-tolarge size global organization

• Global HR experience is strongly preferred • Passionate customer focus, with a proven track record of effective consultation and partnership with business line leadership • Ability to lead and develop a global team while creating paths for career growth

• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

• Strong understanding of global HR processes including Talent Acquisition, Performance, Management, and various technology tools. Previous experience leading a talent acquisition team would be highly desirable • Highly motivated individual, an excellent influencer as well as a results-driven team player with a focus on performance and KPIs

• Track record of delivering a global strategy, successfully juggling multiple projects and priorities • Able to navigate ambiguity and shift direction when priorities change

• Ability to use data analysis and data visualization skills to influence business leaders and decision making • Sense of urgency with thoughtful and disciplined execution and project ownership

• Team player with proven experience building strong relationships through collaboration and networking

• Problem solving skills, with demonstrated experience handling challenging issues in a diverse and dynamic environment Compensation Competitive base salary with annual bonus, generous profit sharing, comprehensive benefits, and a hybrid and flexible work arrangement. North Reading, MA is the HQ location. Some global travel (up to 20%) may be required in the future.
