Regulatory/Compliance Specialist

Role of Position: - Regulatory Compliance Specialist

• Work across functions to ensure that international trade compliance is maintained while ensuring that overall organization objectives are supported

• Conduct Trade Compliance due diligence and risk assessments and assist Corporate Trade Compliance with internal compliance assessments

Responsibility

• Providing administrative and operational support to the Trade Compliance Team
• Perform background check, regular trade compliance risk assessments and due diligence for customers discovery process (i.e CRC, KYC review)
• Implement screen system to ensure adherence to applicable national and/or international export control & Sanction regulation and requirements.
• Participate in any adhoc export control & sanction project, activities & discussion at both global & cross-regions/country as required.
• Work with 3rd party service parties to obtain enhancement report for risk assessment
• Assist corporation trade compliance team with report preparation and document management
• Working across multiple time zones may be required.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Trading /Supply Chain/Logistics related field
• Fluent English & Chinese communication skills (Both written and verbal)  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of MS office suite (Word, Excel, Database, PowerPoint etc.)
• Knowledge of trade compliance, supply chain, export control will be an added advantage.
