Field Application Manager

Technical Leaders in SEG will have the opportunity to experience a range of activities, which can vary week to week but include:

• Lead definition of solution design

• Lead discovery of technical requirements

• Identify key technical knowledge required for project development

• Identify gaps in knowledge, techniques, and/or product

• Manage technical risks: identify, monitor and drive their resolution

• Provide input for definition of project differentiation criteria 

• Complete technical activity task sizing

• Provide required input for applications hardware development

• Ensure program quality (eg. Conduct peer reviews, enforce coding standards)

• Maintain oversight of all technical tasks: identify issues/gaps and voice for appropriate action/escalation

• Ensure effective communication between team and with customer on technical matters

• Be SEG’s technical champion to customer.  Develop trust relationships

•  Facilitate shared learning and use of best practices

·                     Travel to customer sites & OSATs as needed, may be 25% or greater.

Requirements:

• Should possess previous knowledge in UF/UFp and Digital device testing 

• ST3 or higher

• Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to complete technical tasks on-time.  Desire to drive execution of technical, global team

• Communication skills: Ability to communicate on technical matters with peers, customer and management (w/ appropriate level of abstraction)

• Project management skills: Demonstrated ability to be organized, strategic, and flexible
