LitePoint Internship – Field Application Engineering intern

The Field Applications Team is responsible for solution/feature validation, implementation, and verification with Customers.

Litepoint Europe is looking for a Field Applications Engineering Intern to support internal validation and verification of measurement Hardware and Software. As well as Customer Service requests.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in technical support of LPEMEA customers including, but not limited to, bug tracing/fixing, customer training, technical debugging, measurement campaigns, scripting, etc.

Direct support to our extensive base of customers. This will vary from simple training to more complex technical questions and assistance. Acquiring extensive knowledge of our equipment and related technologies and maintaining this will be an advantage.

  1. Initial bring-up and RF measurements on customer Devices using device specific control tools and interfaces. Migration from manual measurements into fully automatic measurement Software.

Litepoint provides customers with turn-key Software solutions for RF measurements along dedicated Hardware platforms. Normal procedure is manual DUT bring-up and measurements, then matching with a chip-specific automatic turn-key Software.

  1. Calibration of customer equipment, incl.:
    1. Pre-calibration coordination and scheduling with company Admin on timing, paperwork, etc.
    2. Calibration & verification of LP equipment. As well as issuing calibration reports or service reports.
    3. Packing and shipping back of customer equipment.

LitePoint does not use external labs for calibration so all equipment will need to be calibrated in our lab. The Intern will be performing calibrations and minor repairs in our lab under supervision of experienced company FAE.

  1. Handling and management of LP loaner inventory and internal equipment.

We carry a large base of equipment to support customers with pre-sales loaners or during service or breakdown of a customer tester. Besides this we have equipment for direct support of our customers. Maintaining the records and keeping these updated in terms of calibration and firmware will be part of your responsibility.



  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Basic knowledge of wireless communications and RF
  • Familiarity with programming is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities
