Logistics Analyst
PENANG, MY
The Logistic Specialist`s primary duty is to ensure the delivery from Contract Manufacturer to Consignee on multiple metrics, which are on-time, cost-effective, time-saving etc., and transact the system correctly & timely.
Work Location: Bukit Minyak Industrial Park
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily import and export shipping operations for Malaysia, China and other regions.
- Sales Order (SO) information collection & delivery planning.
- Flight booking & support documents preparation
- System transaction for receiving, SO shipping and support documents collection
- Shipment delivery tracking & problem solving, logistic cost collection & analysis.
Requirements:
- College degree or above, major in supply chain management, business management or related field.
- Three or more years' experience on import/export under manufacturing environment.
- Understanding to international trade rules, Inco terms, duties/tax knowhow
- Good knowledge of Boned / Free Trade Zone regulations and process, logbook, etc.
- Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) / CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
- Proven knowledge of logistic management, attention to details
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills with international colleagues, suppliers & customers
- Able to converse fluently in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia, as the role requires you to work with suppliers from multiple countries including China.
