Director of Accounting

LitePoint is seeking a Senior Manager/Director of Accounting to build and lead a global team. We are looking for a leader with seasoned experience managing accounting operations, with in depth ERP knowledge, and strong business acumen, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing. This role requires someone that can manage a team to run day to day accounting operations, comfortable doing the work hands-on with the team, and leads change to transform and develop a world class accounting team to scale and support business growth. Advanced excel skills are critical. Prior working experience using Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a plus.  


  • Lead general ledger accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting, including consolidations, intercompany, chart of accounts maintenance, accounting for international subsidiaries, local statutory reporting, revenue accounting, banking, journal entry and reconciliations.
  • Effectively build, lead and develop a worldwide team working remotely in different time zones.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly close process to ensure tasks are completed on schedule by team members across the accounting and finance organization.
  • Oversees activities for international entities working closely with 3rd party outsourced accountants and/or international local accountants to ensure ongoing adherence to US and International tax rules and requirements.
  • Administer online banking systems 
  • Drives the development of strategies to improve accounting operations efficiencies, effectiveness, and scalability, including the development and execution of policy, process, and system changes.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external auditors’ schedules and requirements.
  • Ensures adequate documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Ensure integrity of accounting system and spreadsheets. Prioritize systematic process improvements with IT.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. 
  • Progressive experience within the accounting organization; preferably within a high-growth environment
  • Experienced managing global teams remotely. 
  • A team player with ability to function individually and collectively to work well under pressure, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, exercise initiative and creativity to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Highly detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and committed to a high level of accuracy; a leader who is hands on, and ready to roll up his/her sleeve
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of U.S. GAAP including revenue recognition rules
  • Strong working knowledge with ERP system functionality and setup. Experience with MS Dynamics NAV a plus.
  • High proficiency with advanced excel capabilities, comfortable managing large spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
  • Experience streamlining accounting and business processes
