In your role as FPGA Engineer, you will be an integral part of a world-class team designing the best of wireless test equipment for WIFI and cellular products. You will be working with cross-functional teams such as hardware, firmware, and software to define the FPGA functionality, create custom specifications, deliver the design and perform the system integration test.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop multiplatform FPGA design for LifePoint’s new products.
  • Develop FPGA design specifications, communicate and verify these specifications with the RF/FW designers, and implement these in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Assist software engineering during integration phase and debug flow problems.
  • Develop and own functional blocks to be used on multiple platforms.
  • Hands on debug capability using lab equipment and JTAG.

 

Requirements: 

 

  • BSEE or MSEE
  • Knowledge of working with FPGA architecture, implementation, and verification.
  • Experience with Xilinx tools, TCL, SVN/GIT.
  • Proven design experience implementing at least some of the following technologies, such as SerDes, AXI4, PCIe 2/3, high-speed ADCs and DACs, DDR3/4 memory etc.
  • Successfully completed designs that have gone into production.
  • Understanding of telecommunication theory.
  • Successfully build verification, test benches, and testing environments for new features.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of personnel and cultures.
