Opportunity Overview

LitePoint is a leading provider of wireless test solutions, we deliver cutting-edge products to the market faster. Located in San Jose, California, our HW design team thrives on innovation. We are currently seeking a skilled experienced Hardware Engineer specializing in RF Circuit Design to join our Engineering team.

As part of our Engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing RF circuitry to meet advanced system specifications. This position offers hands-on experience, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to contribute to future product innovations.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Design board-level RF circuitry to meet and exceed system specifications.
• Work with layout designers to translate schematics into optimized board designs.
• Partner with mechanical engineers to ensure thermal compliance, board outlines, and interface specifications.
• Work with firmware engineers to align firmware requirements and constraints.
• Support production engineers in ensuring design for testability (DFT).
• Perform prototype board bring-up with hands-on troubleshooting of board and system-level issues.
• Develop and write test scripts for both board-level and system-level testing.
• Provide support to Operations for New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Participate in discussions on future product development and emerging technologies.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in:
  • RF board-level design.
  • Hands-on use of RF test and measurement equipment.
  • Schematic capture and layout CAD tools.
  • Writing and executing test scripts.
  • Foundational knowledge of RF communication protocols: Bluetooth (BT), WiFi, and Cellular.
  • Basic understanding of RF regulatory standards

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $157 700 - $252 300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
