LitePoint is looking for persons to work on the latest wireless communication technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, UWBP etc.  LitePoint is a leading validation company working with some the biggest names in consumer electronics to ensure wireless communications work their best and live up to consumer’s expectations.  We are based in the heart of Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) where the leading edge of new wireless technologies are constantly being developed.

 

This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested regularly in order to work in the LitePoint/Teradyne office. 

 

 

As a signal analysis engineer at LitePoint you would be an integral part of the engineering development team. You will be working to develop, implement and verify new analysis algorithms for various wireless technologies on our test equipment.  The role provides for a rich technical experience with skillsets in wireless communication and systems, software development (C/C++ and Python) and Radio Frequency (RF) design knowledge. Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and verify new signal processing algorithms for wireless technologies such as WiFi, BT, UWB etc.

Help drive the feature through product (enable GUI implementation, DUT verification, usability)

Support product through life cycle 

Basic Qualifications & Skills

Qualified Applicants will have:

  • MSEE or PhD
  • 2-5 years of working with MATLAB, C/C++
  • Experience with wireless communication and wireless systems (e.g., digital communications, signal processing, protocols)
  • Understanding of telecommunication theory (e.g., filter design, equalization, OFDM, MIMO concepts etc.)
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), Bluetooth or UWB/802.15.4
  • Experience with RF measurements (EVM, Frequency/amplitude estimations, PER etc.)
  • Experience with system performance debugging and analytical problem solving
  • Experience with wireless test equipment (scopes, spectrum analyzers)
  •  Must be able to work full-time in San Jose office
