We seek an experienced Areal Sales Manager for our business in Germany. You will work from your home office and be linked to our office in Frankfurt, and report to the Sales Director. If successful, you will be part of our dynamic and ambitious company, whose dedicated colleagues love to make a difference to the working day and create success in the world of robotics. Your will part of a big set up, with local colleagues, 300 colleagues globally and 5600 colleagues when counting Teradyne.

You’ll dive deep into your field of expertise, and really make it work
You will build and establish relationships with distributors to sell our products and ensure repeat business. You will work both tactically and operationally and your tasks will include preparing market and activity plans, prioritizing focus customers and sectors, evaluating the distributors, and establishing and developing new distributors.

You will hold a responsible position with a great deal of freedom and opportunities for you to personally shape the position.


Your tasks will include: 
•    Partner Management, pipeline management and market development
•    Business development for market segments of autonomous mobile robots’ fast technology adoption  
•    Manage the existing distributors and evaluate if they are the best option in the area
•    Analyzing industrial markets, segmenting sectors and identifying sales opportunities in the area assigned
•    Select, train, energize and support a net of distributors to design effective solutions for final customers and increase sales in the area
•    Travel extensively visiting potential clients together with distributors and making presentations of the robots
•    Control sales results and customer satisfaction


You’ve got what it takes to fit in at the frontier of robotics
If you are located near Frankfurt or can work from here occasionally, you have an advantage. At MiR, we come in all shapes and sizes, and we cheer each other on. However, we do expect that you’ll bring the following personal and professional competencies:
•    A dynamic Area Sales Manager with some years of experience in a similar position in robotics or automation
•    Strong and dynamic sales development competence and record 
•    You have a deep understanding of the industrial sectors in the area
•    Writes and speaks German and English fluently 
•    Relevant technical education (Engineering e.g., industrial engineer) and preferable you possess a specialization in robotics and/or industrial automation
•    You have commercial acumen and is motivated to sell technical products
