Opportunity Overview
The Engineering Technician performs hands-on hardware testing for our robot products, including PCBAs, cables, and mechanical components. The role contributes to engineering design validation and conducts product testing for customer applications to verify performance against the functional and quality requirements.
- Hardware Testing & Validation: Execute functional, electrical, and mechanical testing of PCBAs, cables, and assemblies; perform design verification and validation while documenting accurate results.
- Technical & Troubleshooting: Assist in hardware bring-up, debugging, root cause analysis, and prototype test assembly, rework, and repairs.
- Field & Customer Application Testing: Perform FAEs by conducting product tests for customer applications, enabling demos, proofs-of-concept, and evaluations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear test records, reports, and validation documentation while providing timely feedback on findings and improvements.
- Engineering Change Management: Assist in implementing and validating engineering changes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, test, and field teams to perform rapid validation, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, or related).
- 2–4 years of experience in hardware testing or technician roles.
- Hands-on experience with PCBA, cable, or mechanical assembly testing.
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and hands-on technical skills.
- Experience in robotics, automation, or industrial equipment.
- Exposure to field application testing or customer-driven evaluations.
- Familiarity with basic test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope).
- Willingness to travel on-site or customer-related testing when needed.
