Program Management Specialist - MiR:Philippines: Cebu

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Management Specialist to join our Cebu-based hardware team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects, supporting cross-functional teams, and maintaining clean and efficient systems.

The successful candidate will manage 2-4 active R&D projects led by Danish teams, focusing on product tree development, master data maturity, Jira task coordination, and administrative follow-up. While based in Cebu, you’ll have a dotted-line connection to the Project Management Office in Denmark, and collaborate closely with Danish project leads during key phases of development.

• Support in defining project goals, scope, deliverables, tasks, and required resources
• Ensure all the project deliverables are met on the specified quality standards and objectives
• Create and maintain project documentation, timelines, task lists, and schedules
• Ensure a smooth and comprehensive communication between the stakeholders and team members
• Identify and track potential project risks and issues, recommending solutions
• Escalate blockers to keep the project moving forward.

• Jira Oversight:

• Help build the Confluence/Jira structure of the project.
• Coordinate task creation, assignment, and tracking.
• Maintain backlog hygiene and prioritization.
• Surface critical issues and support backlog decisions.
• Keep Jira boards clean and actionable.

• Administrative Task:

• Follow up on purchases and procurement-related actions.
• Draft approval requests and other project documentation.

• Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between the Cebu and Denmark teams.
• Provide transparency and coordination during critical project phases.

• Growth Opportunity:

• Potential to lead minor projects with 1–2 team members.
• Long-term path toward full project management responsibilities.

• Engineering Graduate; preferably a hardware-related engineering graduate of Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination or lead roles.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Familiarity with Teamcenter (training can be provided).
• Excellent communication and composition skills with the ability to foster communication and integration between project teams and or functional groups (fluency in English is required)
• Analytical, process-oriented, and strong documentation skills
• Ability to work with different levels of the organization and cross-functional groups.
