MiR, a Teradyne subsidiary, is a leading manufacturer of Mobile Industrial Robots. MiR AMRs offer efficient, flexible, autonomous material delivery that increase productivity across a range of industries from manufacturing to warehousing and distribution centers. Due to our rapid growth, MiR is expanding its team and is currently seeking an Account Manager for key strategic accounts.

 

The Strategic Account Manager plays a key role in the overall MiR business strategy and is responsible for growing sales within targeted accounts globally. The Account Manager works directly with the end customer and coordinates with channel partners and functional groups inside MiR to achieve sales targets.  This is a remote position based in the Midwest.

 

Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Meet global annual growth and sales targets at named strategic accounts
  • Understand customer stakeholders and buying influencers and execute a strategy to win
  • Build strong relationships with customer decision makers, including senior management
  • Identify and qualify opportunities, establish MiR competitive value proposition
  • Work with MiR cross-functional team and channel partners to insure successful MiR customer experience
  • Demonstrate industry expertise and establish technical credibility
  • Contribute to long term strategic planning process with MiR senior management

 

Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven record of multi-year revenue growth selling to large accounts
  • Understanding & experience doing business with Automotive OEMs
  • 4+ years of experience selling AGVs / AMRs
  • Strong technical background in robotics
  • Experience working with GM (or any automotive OEMs) is a huge plus
  • Proven record of design-in wins and
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience developing and negotiating complex sales opportunities
  • Passionate, motivated, energetic and team oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other technical discipline or relevant experience
