You’ll dive deep into your field of expertise, and really make it work

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in developing C# .NET applications to join our robotics development team. You will play a key role in building and optimizing software solutions that manage and coordinate fleets of robotic systems, ensuring seamless operations and scalability.

The ideal candidate is passionate about developing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications with a strong focus on bringing products to market. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate software, hardware, and AI technologies, ensuring our products meet both technical and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain software for robotic systems and fleet management platforms using C# and the .NET framework, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Legacy Code Maintenance: Take responsibility for maintaining and refactoring legacy code, ensuring it remains functional, efficient, and scalable while supporting the addition of new features and technologies.
• Fleet Management: Develop and enhance fleet management software to monitor, control, and optimize the performance of multiple robots operating in parallel across various environments.
• Product Development Lifecycle: Take a lead role in bringing robotics products from concept to production, ensuring timely releases while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, AI, product, etc.) to deliver fully integrated robotic solutions that meet operational goals and customer requirements.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, identify and resolve issues to ensure software quality and stability, and develop tools to support testing procedures.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise, and detailed technical documentation for software solutions, including architecture, design, and code.
• Customer Focus: Ensure that the developed software meets customer and market needs, providing support during product launches and post-launch phases

You’ve got what it takes to fit in at the frontier of robotics

At MiR, we come in all shapes and sizes, and we cheer each other on. However, we do expect that you’ll bring the following:

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on C# and .NET technologies
• .NET Framework: Strong expertise in .NET Core and .NET Framework development, including experience with Web API development, Entity Framework, and dependency injection
• Product Delivery: Proven track record of taking products through the full product development lifecycle, from concept to market
• Teamwork: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Qualifications – nice to have:

• Experience with fleet management platforms or technologies used for the coordination and monitoring of multiple robotic units
• Experience with robotics frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Experience in other programming languages like Python or C++
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning algorithms applied to robotics and fleet optimization
