Global Key Account Manager

You’ll dive deep into your field of expertise, and really make it work

In this position, your focus will be to support and develop global accounts in close collaboration with the VP of Global Accounts. Your main task will be to maintain and develop already existing GAs and expand business by working on a close and strategic level (Key Account Management) with end-customers via our global sales network, which is a mix of own regional sales teams and through MiR partners (distributors and Certified System Integrators). You will become part of a global team of 10 Global Key Account Managers and be located at the headquarters in Odense, Denmark with a hybrid home office. You must travel approx. 80 – 100 days yearly. 


Your main responsibilities will be: 

•    Work strategically with key customers
•    Visits to end costumers
•    Develop and expand business within existing accounts 
•    Cross-organizational collaboration - especially with regional sales and to convey market intelligence and customer insights
•    Contract negotiations with high-level procurement departments
•    Design and prepare long-term framework agreements with customers 


You’ve got what it takes to fit in at the frontier of robotics

At MiR, we come in all shapes and sizes, and we cheer each other on. However, we do expect that you’ll bring the following:

•    A technical education as an engineer or similar 
•    At least 5 years of technical-related Key Account Management experience to international customers
•    Strong stakeholder management skills and international experience in advising and selling products or services within automation 
•    Demonstrable success in value-based selling 
•    Fluency in English, orally and in writing, and maybe in an additional language


As a person, you are highly motivated and results-driven. You are a relationship builder with strong communication skills and excellent negotiation and account management skills. You have a positive spirit, drive, and the ability to work independently and close contracts.
