Production Test Manager

Are you our new Production Test Manager? We are establishing a new  Production Test Team to accelerate our quality journey. We need you to define our test strategy and lead the implementation of it. You will lead and grow your own team, that will set new standards for how we design and implement full process control and traceability for all internal and external manufacturing processes. You’ll dive deep into your field of expertise, and really make it work


In this role, you will define our test strategi, within manufacturing, together with the Head of Quality and in close cooperation with R&D and Operations. You will be responsible for implementing the new test strategi from idea, design specification, test specifications, and manufacturing of the test equipment, to installation of a modular, and scalable test system, including Data Logging system, which provides real-time test data for monitoring and improving product quality and manufacturing processes. It will be your responsibility that the test system is according to the relevant regulatory requirements, CE certification, and is well documented and safe to operate.


We expect you to show hands-on leadership of the test team of 2-4 employees, developing, designing, and implementing structure and guidelines for the team to show effectiveness and feel motivated. In this role, you will collaborate cross-organizationally in MiR and have many stakeholders. You will participate in the management team of Supply Chain and ad hoc in management teams across the organization.


Your tasks and responsibilities would include:


•    Define and implement the test strategy 
•    Support the test team by being hands on, depending on the situation
•    Daily leadership of the test team; develop team members to be able to fulfil future demands in the test team and MiR
•    Define KPI’s within the test team
•    Project lead of test-projects
•    Planning and execution of activities
•    Ensuring design and sharing training materials
•    Local Super User training


You’ve got what it takes to fit in at the frontier of robotics

•    An education as Electronics- or Mechatronics Engineer and +5 years of experience with electronics design, testing, and complying to specifications
•    Leadership experience 
•    Ideally, you are used to analyzing manufacturing processes, specifying test requirements and have implemented test systems for: Unit Test, Hardware Test, Software Test, In-Circuit Test, Function Test, including all documentation according to relevant regulatory requirements
•    Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals (digital logic, digital communications and transmission, signal processing, power delivery etc.)
•    Experience with EMC and used to take EMC into consideration when developing 
•    Product Yield understanding
•    Statistical Analysis knowledge
•    Fluency in English and Danish


As a person, you work proactively and are results oriented. You have great decision-making and execution skills. You are ambitious and have a good understanding of sense of urgency, as you will maneuver in a high-pace and ever-changing environment.
