Senior HR Business Partner for Mobile Industrial Robots


You’ll work with robots on wheels and our People

Genux Executive oversees the search on behalf of Mobile Industrial Robots MiR.


MiR was acquired by Teradyne in April 2018 and is part of its Industrial Automation Group (IAG) which also includes Universal Robots. The Senior HR Business Partner reports to IAGs HR Executive located in the US with a dotted line reporting to the President of MiR.


MiR has 8 sale and technical support locations around the world, and currently employees 550 employees, 200 are located in the corporate HQ in Odense.

We need you to join the HR team and help us execute on our growth strategy “Improve to Win”. The strategy and plans are expected to deliver continued growth of more than 40% per year and approx. 600 additional employees by 2025.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic HR business partnering support to the President and the Senior Management Team
  • Lead development and roll out of HR processes to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability to support expected growth
  • Implement leadership principles to support new managers including global & distance leadership
  • Lead the key talent management programs and initiatives including talent acquisition, leadership development and employee development/career path development
  • Develop and implement initiatives to protect and further develop and visualize the company culture and values
  • Work with the European HR organization to support managers and employees at MiR
  • Partner with Teradyne’s Global HR Team’s COE’s on supporting annual processes within the business unit


The ideal candidate:

  • Seasoned and grounded HR professional with 8+ years of experience, supporting an international leadership team and the ability to engage and positively influence at all levels
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, including presentations and written communication
  • Analytic with an understanding of key drivers and indicators for organizational effectiveness
  • Business acumen with a natural curiosity to understand the P&L architecture, what drives the dependencies in the businesses
  • Hold a master’s degree or HD
  • Dynamic, independent, and able to take initiative whilst being including, motivational, and respectful towards your colleagues
  • Have knowledge of the most common agreements, laws, terms, and conditions within the field of HR and understand the role HR plays in ensuring governance and compliance
  • Drive annual HR processes globally ensuring these processes are aligned with the global and local HR plans, and messaging is consistent
  • Talent development – Manage talent review process, performance management, and employee growth programs, ensuring the continuous supply, development, and retention of top talent
