We are currently seeking two passionate Software Engineers with expertise in C# and .NET to help us improve and enhance our Fleet Management Systems, ensuring that our fleet of robots operates seamlessly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Improve, maintain, and optimize Fleet Management Systems with a focus on enhancing customer-facing features and addressing customer feedback.
- Optimize the system’s scalability and performance, ensuring it can handle a growing number of robots and tasks as the customer fleet expands.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and customer-facing teams, to ensure that customer needs are met and the system is aligned with user expectations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to customer-facing functionality, performance, and overall fleet management experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously enhance the system to improve the customer experience, ensuring the fleet management system is reliable, efficient, and user-friendly.
You’ve got what it takes to fit in at the frontier of robotics
At MiR, we come in all shapes and sizes, and we cheer each other on. However, we do expect that you’ll bring the following:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in software development, particularly with C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Experience in software development for fleet management systems or similar large-scale, real-time systems.
- Solid experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server) and technologies such as Entity Framework for managing fleet data.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for communication between software modules.
- Strong debugging skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in distributed systems.
- A strong desire to continuously improve and learn new skills. The ideal candidate will approach challenges with a growth mindset and be open to adopting new tools, techniques, and processes as the industry evolves.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with robotics middleware (e.g., ROS - Robot Operating System).
- Knowledge of microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD pipelines for software development.
- Experience with automated testing, test-driven development (TDD), and unit testing frameworks
