At MiR, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Test Development Engineer to help us elevate our testing capabilities. In this role, you’ll design and maintain automated test tools that align with our testing strategies—boosting the efficiency and reliability of our development processes.

You’ll dive deep into your field of expertise, and really make it work
The primary purpose of this role is to develop automated test frameworks, optimize test workflows, collaborate with test specialists, and coordinate with various teams involved in software and hardware development. It looks like this:
- Test design: Design, implement and maintain automated test infrastructure and tools for robot software and hardware
- Collaborate: Work with software developers, system architects and test specialists to define testing strategies
- Simulation: Create simulation-based test environments to validate robot behavior before deploying software on hardware
- Defect tracking: Identify, log, and track software defects found in automated testing
- Reporting: Analyze testing results and implement tools to generate reports of testing results
- Continuous improvement: Advocate for best practices in testing, code quality and software maintainability
- Development: Ensure test software and tools are created in accordance with software development standards
You will be working at our premises in Odense.
You’ve got what it takes to fit in at the frontier of robotics
At MiR, we come in all shapes and sizes, and we cheer each other on. However, we do expect that you’ll bring the following:
- A relevant BSc or MSc degree (software, robotics) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of SW Development
What would be a plus:
- ISTQB Foundation
- Experience with ROS/ROS 2
