Area Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities:

The key focus of Area Sales Manager is to support and develop a network of distributors (selling partners) and generate sales. Your task is to create interest in MIR products at end costumers and get the focus from distributors in selling MIR innovative products and solutions.

  • Development of existing distributors
  • Establishment of new distributors in your region/country
  • Lead visits and discussion with end costumers to promote MiR products and support distributors to close opportunities
  • Lead, grow and manage strong pipeline together with the distributors.
  • Identify new national and international customers and business opportunities
  • Responsible for preparation, execution and successfully achieving ambitious sales budget
  • Manage customer relationships, maintain, or develop knowledge on the customer organization and build strong relationships with key decision makers at various customer stakeholders (functions & levels)
  • With focus on sales activities reporting, volume planning and forecasting, you will use existing tools for customer visit reports, contract management and the budget process in an accurate and timely manner
  • As sparring partner for distributors and with focus on value-based selling, you are to provide in-depth product and application information to distributors with timely advice
  • Coordinate and communicate internally with all stakeholders to drive actions and decisions including the distribution of market information as well as competitive intelligence into the organization
  • Collaborate with technical support department in providing professional after sales
  • Participation in public relations (PR) and marketing assignments


  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, with Business qualification as an added advantage
  • Technical experience in automation and robotics
  • Fully trained in a technical and/or commercial profession
  • At least 5 years of technical related sales experience
  • Demonstrable success in value-based selling
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Passion for sales and disruptive technology
  • Highly motivated and result-driven
  • Display leadership in driving sales opportunities
  • Relationship builder with strong communication skills and excellent negotiation and account management skills
  • Entrepreneurial team player with results-oriented approach who can also work independently
  • Must be willing to travel, as there will be frequent travel (Expect to have 100+ days of travelling across Taiwan)
