Opportunity Overview
In this position, you will be working closely with the Manufacturing and NPI team to test and calibrate Quantifi Photonics products. You will be testing the products and making sure each product is passing and meet specifications. You will be responsible for using existing python scripts developed internally to perform the calibrations and ensure the quality of the products.
Testing
- Perform test and calibration for all the products released according to specification.
- Testing and calibration of products according to specification, functionality and quality.
- Complete the calibration of the product to meet the specification, functionality, and quality.
- Establish an update databases use in Manufacturing.
- Collecting, analysing, and interpreting test data to assess product performance and identify potential issues
- Assembling mechanical or electrical components as part of the testing process
Quality Process
- Ensure products meet quality and performance standards through precise testing, accurate data recording, and effective troubleshooting. follow standardized procedures.
- Record and update quality stats daily.
- Assist in identifying the reasons for failure on units that fail calibration and testing.
- Assist with failure analysis on RMA units.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections, identify equipment issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance to the test stations.
- Check if any test instruments need calibration.
- Calibrating and maintaining test equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Check for stock levels on testing equipment and accessories.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Photonics, Optoelectronics or related field
- 1-2 years of experience with Python
- Proficiency in using computers for data analysis, documentation, and communication
