Opportunity Overview
Teradyne has an excellent opportunity for a talented Intern to join our Mixed Signal ASIC Test and Characterization team located in Agoura Hills, CA.
- Setup and operation of lab instrumentation for test development of mixed signal Application Specific Integrated Circuits “ASICs”.
- Assist with generation of the ASIC test plan by working with design, test, and program management teams to assist
- Support senior ASIC engineers in execution of ASIC verification and testing
- Creation of software and hardware for efficient testing and data processing.

Required:
- Strong familiarity with lab equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, pattern generators and oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Preferred:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong familiarity with PCBA concepts such as reading schematics, layout and manufacturing techniques.
- Some familiarity with signal integrity concepts such as S-parameters, TDR and impedance
- Familiarity with beginner embedded systems (e.g. Arduino)
- Familiarity with Verilog and FPGAs
- Soldering and SMD rework skills

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $58,240-$107,640. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
