Opportunity Overview

The Platform Technical Product Development Lead is a senior individual contributor responsible for the end-to-end technical and execution success of ATE platform development within Teradyne’s Compute Test Division. This role drives cross-functional alignment, technical direction, and risk management to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet performance, cost, schedule, and customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead semiconductor test cell integration, including handler interfaces, thermal control systems, and automation workflows.
• Develop platform solutions for wafer-level and packaged device testing with emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with probe card and probing technology teams to deliver high-precision, high-yield probe solutions.
• Own product-level technical direction, architectural alignment, and tradeoff decisions.
• Drive cross-functional execution across Hardware, Systems, Firmware, Software, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
• Ensure timely decision-making in ambiguous or high-risk situations and manage product technical and programmatic risks.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar discipline).
• 10+ years experience in product development with knowledge of ATE systems, test methodologies, and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in wafer-level and packaged device testing, including probe card and socket technologies.
• Systems-level architectural experience and customer-facing interaction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional efforts.
• Proven judgment in making and communicating tradeoffs.
• Skilled in negotiation, facilitation, and decision closure.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $173,000-$276,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
