You will be a critical technical resource working in a dynamic cross functional team focused on providing support for various applications developed in-house as well as third-party vendor tools in the hardware and software engineering development environment. You must be a self-driven, excellent communicator who is capable of both leading and participating in technical discussions with an exceptional issue triaging and task prioritization skill. You're an innovative thinker who embraces continuous learning and is passionate about automating away everyday mundane tasks.

 

Basic Responsibilities

We operate under the principles of Agile Scrum. Working closely with hardware and software development teams, this full-time role will involve:

  • Assisting internal customers on essential tools used in HW and SW development.
  • Lead in planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive tool solutions used in ASICs, FPGAs, and System software developments.
  • Performance benchmarking, monitoring key applications/databases, and automating metrics collection processes.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with various IT and engineering teams in identifying bugs and resolving and implementing preventative measures.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline problems related issues working closely with IT. (on Windows & Linux systems).
  • Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines automation.
  • Participating in various tools, data, and build infrastructure migration projects.
  • Maintain and regularly update all applications and services related technical, support and knowledge documentations.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • BS degree in computer science, information technology or related field OR Equivalent experience.
  • English Upper intermediate
  • 5+ years’ experience in
      • Linux and Windows Administration.
      • Mongo or PostgreSQL databases.
      • Apache or Nginx web services and configuration.
      • SCM systems such as Git, VersionVault/ClearCase.
      • Build automation/orchestration experiences on Jenkins and make.
      • Networking technologies like DNS, NIS, SSH, SSSD, SMB, SSL, VNC, RDP.

 

 

Preferred job requirements:

  • Working knowledge in GitHub, Jira, Artifactory, Ansible.
  • Familiar with Kubernetes and container management.
  • Experience in cloud computing.
  • Scripting languages: Python, Perl, Groovy, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, Csh.
  • Cloud Bees CD/RO.
  • VMWare.
  • C#.
  • Kubernetes and container management.
  • Workload management job scheduler tools like IBM LSF (or Slurm).
  • FlexLM License management experience (other license tools/technologies are a plus).
  • Software Build & Release Experience.
  • Redhat
