Opportunity Overview

Teradyne Solution Engineering Group (SEG) is hiring an entry-level Business Analyst to support requirements gathering and help create reports and scripts that stakeholders and departmental managers can use for decision-making.

In this role, you will help facilitate meetings with stakeholders and department managers to review results, identify issues/gaps, and track actions to close those gaps with guidance from the team.

Your contribution will be vital to ensure our organization has the right information at the right time helping the senior management team to make data driven decisions.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support day-to-day administration of the Teradyne SEG global Project Management tool (e.g., user support, basic configuration updates, documentation).
  • Assist in supporting Project Resource Management and Project Financial Management tools, escalating issues when needed.
  • Help manage support contract administration with tool suppliers (e.g., renewals tracking, support ticket follow-up, coordination)
  • Work with SEG and Sales stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for project, resource, and financial management processes
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog and support updates to the featured roadmap based on stakeholder input and guidance from senior team members
  • Prepare meeting materials and help facilitate reviews to align on requirements, priorities, and next steps
  • Coordinate with technical teams to support implementation (e.g., track action items, clarify requirements, and validate delivered functionality)
  • Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders (progress, risks, decisions needed) and maintain clear documentation
  • Innovate on the creations of reports/dashboards and ad-hoc analysis to help stakeholders to make decisions based on the data collected and processed.
  • Support scripting testing and rollout activities (e.g., UAT coordination, basic data validation, training guides, and release notes)

Minimum job requirements:

 

  • Must have or currently pursuing a BS degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • English proficiency.
  • 1 year of working experience in:
        • SQL (able to write and modify basic queries)
        • Reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
        • Basic analysis/modeling techniques (e.g., process mapping, requirements documentation, data validation)
        • XML and Java (able to write and modify basic scripts)
        • Business systems and access concepts (users, roles, permissions) and procedures for requesting/maintaining access

 

 

Preferred job requirements

 

  • Knowledge in AI agents’ creation and maintenance
