Opportunity Overview
Teradyne’s Silicon Technology Engineering group (STE) is looking for a senior level ATE test engineer who would be responsible for developing ATE test program for new silicon designs, prototype debug, test time reduction, test yield improvement and much more. Candidates must have in depth knowledge on IC test program development process, various computer programming skills and detailed knowledge of semiconductor devices. The role will involve direct communication with Teradyne’s silicon design and verification team.
- Define & develop production & characterization tests for ASIC devices on an ATE system
- Interface with designers, verification engineers & system engineers
- Bring-up & debug tests when ASICs arrive
- Work with system architects and digital/analog designers to specify DFT requirements
- Develop detailed test plan from device datasheet and Micro Architecture Specification + Digital Requirement Specification

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field;
- English Proficiency
- 5+ years of experience with:

- ATE test programming experience is required
- Scripting languages: e.g. PERL or Python
- High speed board design

Preferred Job Requirements:
- Teradyne IGXL programming experience
