As enablers of future Mechanical engineering technologies, you will excel in our highly dynamic, customer-focused environment, and be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for maintaining all aspects of engineering development infrastructure.

This full-time role involves working closely with mechanical engineers and managers.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

The ideal candidate in this role will be a critical technical support resource responsible for:

  • Assisting internal customers with development tools used in both Mechanical and Thermal engineering groups.
  • Triaging and troubleshooting IT incidents affecting engineering development.
  • Collaborating with various core IT teams on infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Performance benchmarking, monitoring key systems and services.
  • Creating and maintaining technical support documentation.

 Minimum job requirements:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree related to Mechanical Design.
  • Advanced English Level
  • 1 year of experience with:
    • Product Data Management (PDM)
    • Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)
    • Customer service and troubleshooting skills

 

 

Preferred job requirements:

 

  • Experience with SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
  • Experience with CREO and Pro/INTRALINK.
  • Experience with ANSYS Mechanical.
  • Proficiency in Product Life Management (PLM) system (e.g. Teamcenter)
  • Familiarity with programming (e.g. Visual Basic)
  • Working knowledge of Windows administration
