Opportunity Overview
Role Overview:
The IAM Manager role is pivotal to delivering Teradyne’s IAM roadmap by automating identity processes and embedding audit readiness and will be responsible for establishing and maturing Teradyne’s IAM program with a focus on formalizing governance, automating identity processes, improving privileged and role-based controls, and delivering centralized reporting. This role is critical to strengthening Teradyne’s compliance readiness, streamlining access operations and enhancing user experience to create a more secure, efficient, and audit-ready identity foundation to support Teradyne’s business growth and modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Governance & Organizational Alignment
- Establish and lead a formal IAM governance structure, including an IAM steering committee with executive sponsorship and cross-functional representation.
- Develop, document, and maintain IAM policies and standards covering all IAM domains (access, authentication, privileged access, etc.).
- Define and communicate IAM metrics and SLAs; regularly report on these metrics to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain an IAM service catalog accessible to all stakeholders.
- Ensure all governance decisions and exceptions are documented and traceable for audit readiness.
2. User Lifecycle Management & Access Certification
- Document and map onboarding, offboarding, and access change processes.
- Identify authoritative sources for user identity (e.g., HR systems).
- Implement tools to automate onboarding/offboarding for key systems.
- Begin integration of critical applications with an Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solution.
- Schedule and document periodic access reviews for critical systems, maintaining evidence for audits.
3. Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Identify and classify all privileged accounts and critical systems.
- Formalize privileged access request/approval processes and implement documented workflows.
- Deploy and manage PAM tools, onboarding privileged accounts and automating password rotation.
- Maintain inventories of privileged accounts, approval records, and logs of privileged activities for audit readiness.
4. Authentication
- Expand Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) coverage to all critical applications and remote access.
- Implement adaptive, risk-based authentication for sensitive systems.
- Centralize authentication monitoring and aggregate logs for anomaly detection.
- Maintain logs of authentication events and MFA enforcement records.
5. Authorization, Role & Policy Management
- Define business roles and map entitlements for key applications.
- Implement automated provisioning for roles in critical systems.
- Schedule and document periodic reviews of roles and entitlements.
- Maintain role definitions, mapping documentation, and review evidence for audits.
6. Reporting, Monitoring & Analytics
- Develop consolidated reports for user access and lifecycle events.
- Implement real-time monitoring dashboards and alerting for key IAM events.
- Gather and document stakeholder reporting requirements.
- Maintain report definitions, samples, and evidence of monitoring activities for audit readiness.
Mínimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security or related field or equivalent experience
- English Proficient
- 10+ years of demonstratable industry experience Managing or leading complex Technical IT solutions, software implementations or development projects, and 5 years of IAM Program experience
- Familiarity with HR systems and ITIL processes, particularly in automating deprovisioning and onboarding workflows.
- Proficiency with hands on technical skills in application development, with a focus on automation and integration
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and audit requirements.
- Experience with IGA and PAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Azure AD, etc.)
- Proven experience implementing IAM governance, lifecycle management, PAM, authentication, and reporting solutions
