Opportunity Overview

 

The NPI Manufacturing Engineer will work with multiple manufacturing engineers, across a range of projects, to help move our new products from the early prototype stage, into pilot line production and final transfer to our contract manufacturer.  

 

This work includes the following responsibilities.

 

  • Collaborating with other engineering groups to identify and resolve design issues as early as possible in the new product development cycle.
  • Working with the NPI team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Building various electro-mechanical assemblies to develop the assembly process flow and identify any assembly risks that may lead to product failures.
  • Creating detailed assembly process documents to be used by our pilot production teams and contract manufacturers.
  • Identifying, designing, and qualifying assembly tools and fixtures used in the assembly of our products.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of product assembly issues and collaborating with other groups to determine the root cause and corrective action.
  • Training pilot line and contract manufacturer team members.
  • Assisting in the completion of other department projects as required
  • Travel to US is required.

Minimum job requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Mechatronics engineering Or Related Field.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Working on site full time.

 

1 years of experience in:

  • Mechanical aptitude with an eagerness to comprehend how things go together and a willingness to offer ideas for improving the overall product design.
  • Basic hand tools and the ability to interpret product design requirements from control drawings.
  • Developing and documenting detailed assembly instructions.
  • Solid Works
