The increasing sophistication and high-performance nature of the Teradyne product line has resulted in a need for a Experienced PCB Designer/Engineer who can integrate with hardware engineering and participates as a key person in the PCB design workflow necessary to physically realize complex HV analog, digital and mixed-signal circuit designs.
The role serves as an interface function between PCB design resources, hardware engineering and manufacturing teams and has the following responsabilities:
- Act as a PCB design engineer for complex circuit architecture/designs.
- On larger designs, support PCB Design Engineer guiding the effort of the PCB Designers.
- Realize PCB designs of high component density and high layer count while balancing the competing needs of the electrical design (e.g., high speed signal routing, EMI / EMC, Signal Integrity) with those of the manufacturing standards (DFM and DFT).
- Capture PCB design requirements from the development engineering team, set up constraint manager design rules and DFM rules, and complete PCB design from Data entry to Output of fabrication files.
- Participate in the estimation of PCB design efforts for the scope of work and effort.
- Participate with fellow PCB designers in best practices for layout and simulation of high-speed signals as well as analog and power supply circuitry.
- Elicit layout technique best practices from senior design engineers and incorporate those best practices into the PCB Design Group (i.e., gather, document, train others).
- Team with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure the highest quality PCB design developments.

Minimum job requirements:
- BS Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related field OR equivalent experience.
- English Proficiency.
- 3 years of experience with:

- PCB Design, design processes, fabrication technology.
- Digital & analog PCB development
- PCB Desing Tools (Altium, Cadence/Allegro, etc.)
- Signal integrity practices and theories
- Schematic /constraint capture.

Preferred job requirements:
- IPC certified
- Project management and risk management skills
- Knowledge of Cadence Librarian and Valor.
