Opportunity Overview
Join our Engineering team as a Test Process Engineer, where you will play a key role in developing, sustaining, and improving manufacturing test processes for Teradyne Automated Test Equipment (ATE). This role has a strong emphasis on data management and process optimization to support product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to transform test data into actionable insights and scalable solutions across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain data management solutions to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize manufacturing and test data.
- Analyze PCBA test results, manufacturing trends, and yield performance to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Participate in development, deployment, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test processes and test infrastructure.
- Build and maintain automated scripts and tools for data extraction, cleansing, reporting, and process monitoring.
- Collaborate in root cause investigations through statistical analysis and data-driven problem solving.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, traceability, and compliance across test systems and manufacturing databases.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to sustain production operations and improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support introduction of new products through development of test processes, metrics, and reporting capabilities.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be pursuing or hold a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
- English Proficiency.
- 2 years of relevant experience in:

- Data analytics, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering.
- Analyzing large datasets and transforming data into meaningful business insights.
- Programming languages such as Python, C/C++, C#, or .NET.
- Comprehension of statistical techniques and data-driven problem-solving methods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehension of AI tools and solutions oriented for programming and data assessment.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, automated test equipment, electronics assembly, hardware testing methodologies or hardware validation environments.
- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, data management concepts, and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), test databases, Snowflake, or data warehouse technologies.
- Experience with automation of reporting, data pipelines, or process monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practice.
