Opportunity Overview
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to assess software code, design, and functionality, identifying potential issues and implementing appropriate testing methodologies. You will be responsible for executing test cases, analyzing results, and providing valuable feedback to improve the software's overall quality. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-performing, robust, and user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and applications engineers, to understand software requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test programs to ensure proper functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing, using both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, anomalies, and issues using bug tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues encountered during testing and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test tools to support efficient and effective testing processes.
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance testability, suggest improvements in software design, and promote best practices for software quality assurance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing methodologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance testing practices within the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• English Proficiency
•  5+ years of working experience in:

• • • Semiconductor related industry.
    • Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
    • C++ Object Oriented programming skills.
    • MS Visual Studio and tools such as GIT, Gitlab and Jira.
    • Agile development methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of test/product engineering experience in integrated circuit component testing with experience in developing sophisticated/robust ATE High speed digital semiconductor tests or equivalent (Desirable).
