Opportunity Overview

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Pilot Line Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the New Products Introduction department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-speed digital ATE technologies. As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects by driving issues, influencing outcomes, mentoring junior staff, and providing insights throughout the development lifecycle.

These are the job responsibilities for this role:

  • Participate in all phases of the design cycle providing feedback enabling long-term manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with Project Deliverables, offering proactive solutions to enhance project success.
  • Execute and continuously improve processes to achieve product and process stability.
  • Work collaboratively with all engineering disciplines to ensure successful project launch of high yielding and reliable ATE instrumentation.
  • Provide data and evidence to assess the stability of hardware, software, and processes, facilitating effective decision-making.
  • Document test process and train users.

 Minimum Job Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Or related field.
  • English proficiency.
  • 1 year of experience in:
    • ATE or measurement system fundamentals.
    • Design and reliability processes
    • Troubleshooting complex ATE or measurement systems to component level.
    • Scripting (Perl, Python, etc.)

 

 Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Visual Basic / C# .NET is a plus.
