Opportunity Overview

 

The Pilot Line test technician is responsible for the first line qualification of the new products that are being delivered to high volume production stages to supply our customers. Main tasks are to drive product software and hardware stabilization, following Lean and PDCA methodologies, daily activities are the screening and debug of high technology Digital/Analog electronic PCBAs, also supporting engineering department with “design for: manufacturability, testability, and reliability” deliverables.

Some of the responsibilities included in this role:

 

  • Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
    • Engage in the diagnostics of high complexity ATE products, including parametric and digital datalogs analysis.
    • Perform troubleshooting processes, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

 

  • Hardware Bring-Up and Support:
    • Assist the DV team with hardware bring-up during late Phase III.
    • Provide ongoing support for board bring-up and debug for engineering-owned material.
    • Execute pilot production for non-engineering-owned material.
  • ATP Execution and Validation:
    • Execute and validate ATP tasks.
    • Support the Custom Test Fixture Validation Plan.

 

  • Test Process Qualification:
    • Qualify the test process, including fixtures and tooling.
    • Qualify new versions of software for the pilot line.
    • Focus on qualifying the final Phase 4 hardware and software, and the HLA manufacturing process.

 

  • System Maintenance and Support:
    • Periodically run system and Tb6 PM.
    • Support testers platform debug when the system is down.
    • Handle the assembly, installation, and bring-up of new ATE systems rotating from NPI to HVM.
    • Maintain and update ATE systems.

 

 

All About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background within the electronics field. The Pilot Line assembler will complete complex troubleshooting to repair electronic boards. Within this role you will be responsible for the first line qualification of the new products that are being delivered to high volume production stages.
 

 

Minimum job requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Technical Degree electronics OR related field.
  • Intermediate English level (Writing and reading)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in:
    • Complex Electronic boards repair and troubleshooting.
    • Hardware/Software and ATE platform validation.
    • Root cause and corrective actions analysis.
    • Basic programming skills (Python, C++, etc)
    • PM system and machine skills
    • Block diagrams and Schematics interpretation.
    • Lab equipment usage (Oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc)

 

Preferred job requirements:

  • Pursuing a BS degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or related field.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Layout Software knowledge (Ex. Allegro, D2B, Cadence, etc)
  • Presentation skills.
