Opportunity Overview

Are you a recent college graduate with a passion for developing technical training content? Do you enjoy creating clear and engaging applications training guidelines for complex products and systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a training developer, instructional designer, or applications engineer to join our team to produce high-quality training content for silicon photonics users. You will work closely with developers, engineers, product managers, a dedicated silicon photonics technical writer, and marketing to understand the product needs and translate those into user-friendly training content using the latest AI enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write, edit, and technical training content for various silicon photonics products and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information, identify user requirements, and ensure accuracy and consistency of content
• Apply best practices and learning standards for technical training, such as style, tone, format, and terminology
• Use appropriate tools and technologies to create, manage, and publish training content in both SCORM and .MD formats to support LMS (Learning Management System) and MCP systems
• Review and update existing content to reflect changes, enhancements, and feedback
• Conduct quality assurance checks and user testing to ensure usability and functionality of the training materials
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in silicon photonics and the ATE industry

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, applications engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Portfolio of previous training samples, including development labs that re-enforce lessons learned
• English Proficiency.
• 1 year of experience in
  • • Writing clear, concise, and engaging content for technical engineering audiences
    • Managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.
    • Software development processes and methodologies, such as agile, scrum, and waterfall
    • Training development tools and technologies and how to effectively use AI to augment content development
    • Software products and platforms, such as Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, web, cloud, and mobile
