Regional Sales Manager – Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team and drive the sales of Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment within the specified region. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding Teradyne's market presence and achieving revenue targets.

 

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets for Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment.
    • Collaborate with the global sales team and management to align regional goals with overall corporate objectives.

 

Market Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Provide regular updates on market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to inform business strategy.

 

Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues proactively.

 

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

    • Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of Teradyne's Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment.
    • Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and challenges.

 

Pipeline Management:

    • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
    • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reporting, and analysis to management.

 

Training and Development:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
    • Continuously update product knowledge and provide training to internal teams and customers.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in selling capital automated test equipment or related technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
