Accounting Clerk

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, resolving account-related issues, and ensuring compliance with our financial policies. Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Process order-based invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolve any accounts payable-related issues promptly.
  • Conduct vendor reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and update account information as needed.
  • Process and record incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify receipts and documentation of employee expense claims in a timely manner.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and reporting.
  • Participate in project work and initiatives to enhance financial processes.
  • Promote and uphold compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

 

 

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Previous experience in accounts payable is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying work hours.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiar with MS Dynamics AX, Medius, and SAP Concur.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Resourceful and collaborative.
