Opportunity Overview
As an On-the-Job Trainee in Finance, you will be immersed in the day-to-day operations of our finance team, gaining valuable insights into financial processes and procedures. This is a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the success of our organization.
GENERAL ROLE:
- Help in various Teradyne Accounting and Finance Shared Service functions in the following areas:
Financial Data Entry and Analysis
- Assist in the accurate and timely entry of financial data into our systems.
- Participate in data analysis tasks to aid in financial decision-making.
Invoice Processing, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables team to gain hands-on experience in invoice processing and collection depending on assigned task.
- Verify and reconcile invoices as applicable.
Assist in Financial Reporting:
- Aid in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the generation of periodic financial reports for management review.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with team members to ensure smooth functioning of finance operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Support in Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in variance analysis and reporting.
Ad hoc Projects / Work:
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
Provide help in various finance-related initiatives such as but not limited to:
- bank errands
- submission of company reportorial requirements
- filing, sorting and archiving of various Accounting documents (vendor invoices, Employee's claims, etc.)

- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
