Customer Support Project Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Specialist will work as part of CSO's Project Management Office, and will be the primary point of contact for project management processes and best practices. Will work across functional boundaries to create and implement changes/projects that add value to the organization. This individual will report directly to the PMO Manager/Executive Manager.
Role is:
- Lead or facilitate projects from conception through completion i.e process improvement, cost savings, and transfer of technology, using Project Management Techniques and Processes
- Works with multiple cross-functional groups over project life cycle, coordinate dependencies and timing of deliverable within the project constraints: scope, schedule and budget
- Implements defined project management processes and procedures. Monitors project management compliance of other functional groups and assists when needed
- Build PM training materials and conducts training as necessary
- Attend to Project Management Office operational tasks as needed and provide support to operations in linking organizational strategies to project execution and goals
- Communicate the status of projects to stakeholders as needed, including the CSO senior staff; escalate issues as needed. Point of contact for any issues and concerns.
- Support/lead site wide events and activities including creation of presentation materials for external business meetings.
- Provide admin support to management in terms of Canteen, Shuttle and Vehicle parking allocation.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Education Required:
- College graduate of any 4 years course.
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing/monitoring projects or continuous improvement activities; preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering or Information Technology
- Process oriented and strong documentation skills
- Good in oral and written communication skills, conflict management and relationship skills
- strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational, communication and composition skills with ability to foster communication and integration between project teams and or functional groups
- Must have strong interpersonal, teamwork and project management skills
- Preferably have an experience in managing software development projects.
- Knowledge of MS office, Agile and Lean Six Sigma Methodologies an advantage
