Opportunity Overview
You play a crucial role in ensuring that Teradyne Philippines Ltd adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements. Here are the duties and responsibilities.
- Managed all Statutory (PEZA, SEC, BIR, etc) compliance and filings
- Ensure that the company is complying to all statutory regulations
- In charged of quarterly indirect (VAT, WHT, FBT, etc) and direct tax compliance and filings (corporate tax)
- Work with Asia tax manager or external tax advisors for any tax, PEZA, SEC or other regulatory requirements
- Preparation of quarterly corporate tax forecasts and year-end tax packages
- Keep updated on regulatory, tax changes and work with Operations/ Business departments to implement process changes as a result of changes in tax or other local regulatory changes
- Provide guidance to Accounting team and Operations / Business departments to ensure compliance to all statutory requirement and new regulations from government agencies
- Other ad hoc work

- Degree in Accounting or related course
- At least 5 years working experience in on Statutory compliance
- Familiar with PEZA rules and regulations and BIR Tax rules and regulations and other government agencies reportorial requirement
- Extensive knowledge in Philippines tax rules / regulations, statutory compliance and constantly updated with current circulars and memorandums
- Familiar with BOA's IPS and other online payment facility' of tax authority' (BIR)
- Working knowledge in MS Excel (pivots, advance formula, chart and graphs)
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Power tools
- Strong Critical thinking skills, proactive and self-motivated and must be able to resolve financial issues professionally
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
- Must have the ability' to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
