Financial Analyst/Accountant

Accountant (DIS)

Responsibilities:

• • Assists in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
  • Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other payable transactions.
  • Provide support during year-end closing process, including audit and document preparation.
  • Prepare and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process and payment of vendor and employees’ claims.
  • Submit all statutory requirements to relevant government agencies.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of the payroll register.
  • Review of T&E and other submitted expense reports for accuracy and adherence to policy
  • Account Payable functions
  • Account Receivable functions.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred
  • Proven experience in finance/accounting roles, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles (IFRS)
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experienced in ERP usage and/or implementation. Oracle/SAP Knowledge is a plus
  • Speaking, reading and writing proficiency in English
