Opportunity Overview
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing, developing, and optimizing logistics and warehouse operations to support accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the supply chain.
This role ensures that logistics processes, documentation, and standards are effectively maintained while providing data-driven insights to improve performance. The Logistics Analyst supports inventory integrity, drives process improvements, prepares operational reports, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, enhance productivity, and ensure seamless end‑to‑end logistics execution. This position plays a key role in strengthening operational excellence through continuous improvement, data analysis, and adherence to corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enhance logistics processes by creating new methods, updating documented procedures, and ensuring timely review and approval of all process changes.
- Analyze business workflows and evaluate feedback from internal customer surveys to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Create, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all logistics and warehouse processes to ensure consistency and compliance with corporate standards.
- Monitor industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices to identify advancements in logistics planning, execution, and technology that can be applied to operations.
- Maintain accurate logistics records in adherence to corporate policies, documentation requirements, and trade compliance regulations.
- Support and lead activities during physical inventory, including variance analysis, discrepancy investigations, and corrective action implementation.
- Analyze logistics data using data mining, modeling, cost-benefit studies, and other analytical tools to support planning and decision-making.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports, providing clear insights, variance explanations, and actionable recommendations.
- Apply appropriate methods and tools to anticipate, measure, and control logistics operations, ensuring process reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and metrics, identify performance trends or irregularities, and recommend corrective actions with defined timelines for recovery.
- Manage warehouse storage utilization by coordinating with planners on aging inventory, ensuring optimal space usage and compliance with 5S and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory transactions and integrity across warehouse facilities, ensuring accuracy in receiving, storage, shipping, and system updates.
- Identify inventory reduction and optimization opportunities, leveraging part usage trends and inventory aging analysis.
- Investigate operational issues or deviations, develop incident reports, perform root cause analysis, and propose permanent corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct monthly risk and impact assessments, evaluate process efficiency, and perform compliance checks through mock audits, 5S Gemba walks, and audit readiness activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Teams, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Word).
- Effective team collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional departments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a self-directed, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in project management, planning, and resource coordination is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
