Opportunity Overview

  • Help optimize CSO global transportation network in terms of costs, transportation mode, transit lead-times, and service quality of different logistics service providers through Data Analysis, Value Analysis, and negotiations with forwarders.
  • Establish processes in Transportation and Customs Compliance.
  • Responsible for the compliance of PEZA and Customs requirements
  • Coordination throughout the entire supply chain utilizing strong industry knowledge to identify optimization opportunities to reduce cost and maximize carrier and supplier performance.
  • Traffic Analyst will work with Order fulfillment group on establishing appropriate incoterms by destinations, review LC (Letter of Credits) and generate Manufacturing certificates as per customer request.
  • Communicate and arrange with TER Forwarders for shipment.
  • Maintains and updates the Global Freight Lead-Metric/KPI Dashboard.
  • Support the team in liaising with service providers in addressing operational issues in transportation.

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in the area or field of Transportation and Warehousing
  • Knowledgeable in global logistics operations, Importation/Exportation processes and trade compliance
  • Knowledge of HS/tariff code classification
  • With attention to details and excellent analytical skills
  • Applies standard logistics concepts, theories, concepts, techniques, and practices to solve a variety of transportation related issues/problems
  • Process-oriented thinker - Always looking for continuous improvement solutions.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time well on tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Knowledge/Experience of process automation is a plus
