Opportunity Overview
- Designs manufacturing process improvement within schedule and budgetary parameters
- Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
- Troubleshoot process related issues and fine tune processes to eliminate process-induced defects
- Implement statistical process review on new and existing products
- Review processing methods and provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
- Develop and maintain process documentation up-to-date and in accordance with ECOs
- Studies and plans workforce utilization, space and tools requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and in accordance with LEAN manufacturing philosophy
- Estimates and studies production time, staffing requirements, and related cost to provide information for management judgment
- Initiates, review and approve ECNs for product's reliability, quality and improvement
- Performs final quality check to product before shipping to customer
- He shall closely work with Assemblers and Test technicians for Instrument assembly quality and OTC(Option Test Cell).
- Develop and maintain documentation and digitization of processes used in assembly and test of Instruments
- May support new product transfers
- Remote support to other OPS site/regions

- Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent courses.
- Must have high reasoning skills.
- Must have a high sense of urgency.
- Must be capable of interfacing with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
- Must have software and hardware troubleshooting skills (e.g. C++, Visual Basic).
- Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in computer operation, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, etc), and familiarity with internet based program navigation, with ability to generate and interpret computer data.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
