Opportunity Overview

 

  • Serve as a core PSG representative for both existing and new product platforms, ensuring alignment between field and factory operations
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Field Teams, Engineering (HW/SW), and Cebu Repair Operations to resolve field issues and escalations
  • Lead parts analysis initiatives and drive reliability improvement programs based on failure trends
  • Actively participate in new product development meetings, providing product support and reliability input
  • Support system installations by coordinating with install teams on tools, resources, and readiness requirements
  • Define and implement Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) strategies to optimize serviceability and turnaround time
  • Plan, organize, and manage field upgrades, repair activities, new product introduction (NPI), product transfers, and non-recurring (NR) projects
  • Partner with documentation teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of service and technical materials
  • Monitor and evaluate part reliability for new products, driving corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and publish reliability reports based on field performance data and failure analysis
  • Travel requirement: up to 20%

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical preferred)
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
  • Strong critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills for complex system-level issues
  • Experience in Product Support, Field Applications, or similar roles is preferred
  • Background in automation and system-level troubleshooting is an advantage
  • Experience in Hard Disk Drives (HDD), System Level Test (SLT), or semiconductor test environments is highly desirable
  • Technical Project Management experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage cross-functional stakeholders
