Product Support Engineer

Organization & Role

The Teradyne Product Support Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Engineer to provide world class support to the current and future generations of Teradyne Semiconductor Test Products. This role is enabled by an in-depth knowledge of Teradyne’s product offerings coupled with a desire to provide timely solutions across an evolving customer landscape. The Product Support Engineer role is a dynamic and challenging global support opportunity that spans an array of engineering disciplines

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages customer requests and product escalations
• Provide product support to NPI, new installations, and all active installed base
• Coordinate and support PUP and PIP activities at international sites as needed
• Leading the collection, summary, analysis, corrective actions, and reporting of data in alignment with Cebu Repair Team, and Product Engineering
• Create and provide Product Training Documents and Procedures to the field team
• Other product support and customer support assignments as required
• Create new FRU and Technical Bulletins/Service Bulletins
•  Data analyst function-
• Create monthly MTBF reports
• Work with the field team to clarify part failure records and update the database accordingly.
   

Basic Qualifications, Education & Skills Required:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics or equivalent courses
•  Strong communication and integration skills
•  3-10 years of product support/service experience in the semiconductor test industry
•  Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking ability
•  Ability to schedule and manage small projects is desired
