Production Material Planning Supervisor

Roles and responsibilities

* Establishes operating policies & procedures to optimize planning capacity & inventory management activities
* Optimizes overall cost of materials & implement cost reduction measures
* Ensures compliance to inventory targets
* Fosters open communication with internal & external customers to meet company objectives
* Sets goals, establishes priorities, manages resources, develops concepts & approaches, reviews projects & results & make management decisions
* Provides supervision & direction to his or her team on issues & procedures 
* Motivates staff & ensures that they develop proper ethical standards to support the company's vision & mission
* Conducts weekly staff meetings to share updates, issues and concerns
* Performs performance evaluation and provide on time feedback
* Responsible in maintaining on time delivery attainment to customers

Basic Qualifications/Skills Required
* Bachelor of Science in Industrial Eng'g graduate with at least 5-7 years Planning experience
   Other degree holders with Planning experience are welcome to apply
* Must have the ability to manage cross-functional teams
* Possesses strong leadership, commitment & is flexible in dealing with employees
* With strong sense of urgency & works within deadlines
* Has good communication skills & can relate well with people
* Must be objective and mature enough to handle conflicts
* Possesses coaching skills
* Should not be serving any corrective action with sanction of written warning & up
