Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Center of Excellence (CoE) manager to drive transformation across our global finance organization. This role will lead the design, implementation, and governance of CoEs in areas such as Accounts Payable, Credit & Collections, Reconciliations, and Automation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance transformation, shared services, and global process optimization / automation.
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the CoE charter, aligning with enterprise goals and finance transformation initiatives.
- Operational Oversight: Lead implementation phases across various areas including but not limited to AP, AR, Intercompany, Tax, Reconciliations and Automation, ensuring consistency, efficiency and excellence in delivery.
- Governance & Methodology: Develop and enforce CoE frameworks, KPIs, and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across finance organization to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor functional CoE leads and members; Help Develop and oversee training and reward systems.
- Change Enablement: Drive continuous improvement, risk reduction, and workforce optimization.
- Automation Integration: Identify and drive automation opportunities / tools (e.g., RPA, workflows) to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Reporting: Deliver structured reporting on CoE performance and service level improvements.

- Experience: Minimum 15 years in finance, with proven leadership in Shared Service Centers (SSC) and / or CoEs.
- Background: Big 4 experience strongly preferred, with exposure to global finance operations and compliance.
- Ability to define vision, align CoE goals with organizational strategy and lead cross-functional teams
- Skilled in navigating organizational change, stakeholder engagement and resistance mitigation
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster knowledge sharing, resolve conflicts and maintain transparency
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred) and automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflows)
- Capable of setting KPIs, tracking ROI, and using metrics to guide continuous improvement
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience running a CoE or SSC across multiple regions
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
